Jason will be back out on the court tonight in Detroit, the toughest of the Mavericks’ preseason games.
Head coach Rick Carlisle, who has previously coached the Pistons, changed his style of play to fit around No 2.’s strengths. Carlisle as reported by the Detroit News:
"When you have a player like Jason Kidd, you have to take advantage of his abilities."
And as the newspaper point out, having J-Kidd is no small thing.
"With the Mavericks, Carlisle’s offense will be run by Jason Kidd — arguably the best open-court point guard the game has seen."
