They could have let early adversity get the best of them; instead, Jason and the Mavs used a challenging start to learn and grow as a team.

Now they’re 6-7 and sitting on a four-game win streak.

No.2 spoke to Hoopsworld.com recently about Dallas’ early stumbles and bouncing back from them:

“We’re getting some wins and this league is all about confidence. We’re getting some confidence… and we had a pretty tough schedule to start off with, so we’re all trying to figure it out. This is team is going to fight until the end and we just need to play a little better defense, which will give us a chance to win.”

Being the experienced player he his, Jason knows that up and downs are the nature of the game. The Star-Telegram quoted Jason:

“We’ve gone through a lot in 13 games. So we have to use that to our advantage.”
