Jason Kidd’s Milwaukee Bucks were looking to carry some of the momentum over on Monday night from their Friday night dismantling of the Washington Wizards.

Unfortunately, the Bucks couldn’t replicate their 123-96 win, as the Bucks used a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback to defeat the Bucks 107-102.

The Bucks had a 10 point lead with 7:50 left in the game, but the Wiz quickly went on a 6-0 run to bring the game within four and forced Coach Kidd to use a timeout.

“Well I think when we talked about the timeout when we were up six, we just gave up back-to-back threes, we said no threes that’s the one way they can get back in the game,” Kidd said. “They used the three to get back in that fourth quarter. For us offensively, we’ve just got to keep moving the ball. They got a little physical with us and so our patience, being able to screen and set up guys, we have to get better at that.”

However, J-Kidd’s timeout couldn’t stop D.C.’s momentum. The Wizards picked back up with a 15-6 run to end the game.

“It happens. We’re going to learn and get better from this. It’s not easy to win on the road,” Jason said. “We put ourselves in a position to win, we just didn’t close the door.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the game with 22 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Tony Snell had a great shooting night, making a career-high six 3-pointers while scoring 20 points.

Michael Beasley returned to action for Milwaukee, coming off the bench to score eight points in 18 minutes.

“With (Beasley’s) first game back, he was going. Looking at getting Jabari and Giannis back on the floor, this was a great learning experience for them, but I thought the guys off the bench put us in a perfect position to win the game, we just didn’t close the door,” J-Kidd said. “Give credit to Washington, they played hard and they found a way to win.”

Otto Porter was the shining star for the Wizards, recording a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds.

John Wall finished the game with 18 points and 16 assists. Bradley Beal scored 22 points, tossed five assists and grabbed four rebounds.

“Porter, he hurt us tonight. It was something we talked about too was making sure their role players didn’t have a big night and Porter had a big night,” Kidd said. “Wall and Beal are going to have their nights, even though if you look at John Wall he’d probably say he didn’t have a good night, but he had I think 18 or 16 assists and he controlled the game. His guys made shots and they found a way to win.”

Up next, the Bucks travel to Detroit to face the Pistons on Wednesday night. It’s the second stop of the Bucks four game road trip.
