Coach Jason Kidd knew he had a young team coming into the season with lots of strides to be made, but two months into the season, things are looking pretty good.

“As a team, we’re growing up and understanding what it takes to win in this league” Coach Kidd said.

The Bucks, who now hold a three game winning streak, have climbed their way into fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Over the weekend, they defeated both the Utah Jazz and the Dallas Mavericks, propelling them to 15-10, the best start through 25 games for the team since the 2005-2006 season.

While MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to dominate, scoring 27 and 37 in the past two games, he is surrounded by what is beginning to look like a well rounded team. The Bucks consistently have four to five guys score in the double digits, including bench members such as last season’s Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon. Coach Kidd gives credit to the chemistry that is growing, saying that it is easier to win games when they go out each night and just have fun together.

Along with the wins, the Bucks got to celebrate another birthday, as Eric Bledsoe turned 28 on Saturday. Though he has only been with the team for half of the season, he has found a way to blend in seamlessly, running the point and being a playmaker for the team.

The Bucks look to keep the momentum going with a three games in four days stretch, beginning with a game at the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. Tipoff is at 8pm ET.
