The Milwaukee Bucks came out Wednesday night with a newfound defensive intensity that had been missing in the past week. The Bucks held the Orlando Magic to 103 points on 43% shooting, winning the game 110-103. The win moves the Bucks to sixth in the East, tied with the Detroit Pistons, at 22-18.

Giannis Antetokounmpo went 10-15 from the floor to score 26, Khris Middleton chipped in 22 and John Henson was able to get his fifth double-double of the year with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

With a 20-point lead to begin the fourth quarter, Coach Jason Kidd was able to look ahead to the Bucks upcoming matchup with the Golden State Warriors, resting Antetokounmpo and Bledsoe for the rest of the game. The Bucks reach the midpoint of their season on Friday with a game against the Warriors set to tip at 8pm ET on ESPN.

“We played at a high level, we took care of business, and we got the win that we needed, now we’ve got to get ready for Golden State on Friday,” said Coach Kidd after the game.

In other news, Coach Kidd reported that Jabari Parker is on target, looking great and approximately a month away from returning to action with the team.
