On Wednesday night, Hassan Whiteside arrived in Milwaukee and had a career game against the Bucks. Whiteside scored a season-high 27 points, as well as 13 points and 6 blocks, in order to push the Miami Heat past the Bucks, 106-101.

It was a close game until late, when Miami went on a 7-0 run to take control and close the game. It was a tough quarter of poor shots and nothing seemed to fall for the Bucks.

“The fourth quarter is a great example of us just being selfish and playing bad basketball” said Coach Kidd after the game.

The scoring was led by Khris Middleton, with 25 points, and Giannis Antetokounmpo chipped in a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Bucks have gone 4-6 in their last ten games and have slipped to seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Bucks have a few days to rest and recover before playing the 76ers in Philadelphia on Saturday at 6:30pm CT for the teams’ first meeting of the season.
